Hmm, I have no idea...something having to do with paddlewheel boats?
What didn't Mark Twain do? I really have no idea, but I'm guessing something to do with writing. Maybe some unique pen he fashioned...
Both good guesses! The answer, however, is suspenders. Well, I guess somebody had to invent them ;)
