hmmm, well in little places with long stretches of road i'd say cars would still be able to travel fast. so an average? how about 50mph.
Considering my typical commute when I drive, I'd say 25 mph.
It's actually somewhere in between the two guess...it's 35 MPH. I would have guessed lower, but Jody's right in that you have to consider all those rural miles of interstate!
