Today is also Neighbor Day in Rhode Island.
On this day in 1819, the first bicycles, imported from England, appeared on the streets of New York City. Within a month, the city banned the new-fangled machines as being hazardous to public safety. Hm, I don't recall seeing any when I was in New York yesterday, so I'll just assume this ban is still in effect ;)
Ah, back to trivia time: what body part is visible on a sea lion but not on a seal?

is the answer to this question a graphic body part?! i can't think of what differences they might have! at least not ones i'd notice!
It turns out the ears on a sea lion are visible, while a seal's ears are not. Good to keep in mind next time you're shopping for sea lions ;)
you know, i was kind of wondering about that so after posting i looked at some pictures and BOTH had ears.. g@#$#d damn internets!
