Plop, plop, fizz, fizz, oh what a TRIVIA QUIZ!
Today is Swallows Day at San Juan Capistrano, California. Traditionally, the swallows return each year on St. Joseph's Day.
Today is Pet Passport Day. On this day in 2000, a Shetland sheepdog named Lucy became the first dog to fly into Great Britain under a new pet passport law. The dog flew from Amsterdam to Heathrow Airport outside London. The new passport law allowed cats and dogs from selected European countries to enter into Britain without having to spend six months in quarantine provided they meet certain criteria.
Today is National Chocolate Caramel Day. I'm going out to celebrate right now!

On this day in 1974, Jefferson Airplane became Jefferson Starship.
On this day in 1985, a preschool PTA in Duncanville, Texas, raised $650 by auctioning off two vasectomies donated by a local urologist. Do you think the dads were the ones who bid for these?

India?
Just so you know, I am basing that guess entirely on having watched Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom :)
I'm going to guess Mexico, because it's near Florida and all the American alligators. And they probably have a lot of golf courses at those resorts, and we all know how much alligators love golf courses!
(I should mention that my only foray into Mexico was crossing the border into Tijuana. So I'm not exactly the Mexico expert.)
Well, I know we saw crocodiles in India, but I don't think we saw alligators. I'm going to guess Costa Rica - they seem to have lots of species.
If I lived in Sund, would it be OK to be in a bad mood if my dog couldn't get a passport?
All good guesses, but it turns out the answer is China! Who woulda thunk it?
Kim, that's as good a source material as anything. I've seen that movie maybe once, but my favorite scene is with the guy who's showing off with his weapons in the marketplace, and Indiana just shoots him :)
Laine, that's a good guess, especially with the weakening dollar. Mexico would be a good choice for those American alligators going on vacation.
JD, also a good guess...but that may be the only species besides polar bears not found in Costa Rica. And why would Molly be denied a passport? Has she committed any crimes? ;)
