But if I turn down my TRIVIA QUIZ, how will I hear it ring?

Today's quiz is brought to you by the Motorola Dynatac, which was the first "mobile" phone invented. Remember when Zach from Saved By The Bell used to lug one of these around?

What was the first mobile phone model to offer a vibrate feature? Bonus points if your phone is currently in vibrate mode ;)

Good luck!

Great question, R-dogg! OK, here's my answer. Oh, wait, could you hold on a sec, my phone is ringing. I mean, vibrating ;)

("Hello? Oh, a Frisbee toy? No, I don't know where your rawhide bone is. Good girl, now go back to your puppy nap.")

Now, where was I? Hmmm....sorry, I can't answer the question, I have to run out to Petco, where the pets go. Oh, and because I have no idea :)

I love vibrate mode. It's a wonderful thing. I'd vote for the Scandanavians too.

Ah, Nokia's a good guess, and had the question been "what was my first mobile phone which was the best one I think I've ever had" that would be the answer.

The first phone to use the vibrate function was the Motorola StarTAC. That crafty Motorola!!
