Surf's up, dude! I'm headed to the TRIVIA QUIZ!

Today's quiz is brought to you by the winter storms currently brewing back on the east coast. Brrr! I can't wait to get there this weeeknd! Oh, and did I mention it's 49 dgrees here right now? ;)

So, which state has the longest coastline? This would be good to know if you wanted to head for a nice sunny beach.

For bonus points, which state has the only active diamond mine in the US?

Good luck!

Do I get any bonus points for being the first one to respond today?

The longest coastline...hmmm, good question. Florida's too obvious, so I'm going to say Texas.

And the diamond mine is in...well, I remember visiting a mine in northern Minnesota, so maybe there are diamonds there.

OK I'm going to guess California and Alaska, respectively, but I have no idea.

Nice guesses! This was a tricky one...
The state with the longest coastline is Alaska, and the state with the diamond mine is Arkansas. Who woulda thunk it?
