I bought one of those cheesehead hats on my last trip to TRIVIA QUIZ!

Today is Wisconsin Admission Day. It became the 30th U.S. state on this date in 1848. Welcome, Wisconsin!

On this day in 1919, Charles Strite patented the pop-up toaster.

OK, a couple of questions today....
1) Who was the first US President to be born in a hospital?
2) On average, how many weeks do Americans keep old magazines before tossing them?

Good luck :)

haha, i have no idea about the first one. let's see, for the second i'll hazard a guess at 2 years. i know some people keep them forever. but there have got to be people out there who do the right thing and get rid of the clutter!

I'm going to guess that Teddy Roosevelt was the first to be born in a hospital. And, I'm going to say 20 weeks on average - I'm clearly above that, as Rob certainly knows!

Jimmy Carter was the first prez born in a hospital. I thought that was pretty crazy!

As for the magazines, the average American holds on to them for 29 weeks...I guess that's an average of people who keep them forever, and me who recycles them without reading them ;)
