In 14 hundred and 92, Columbus sailed the ocean TRIVIA QUIZ!

Not too many things going on today, but today is Shampoo Outdoors Day (much easier if it's raining!) and Hammock Appreciation Day.

On this day in 1492, a half hour before sunrise, Christopher Columbus set sail from Palos, Spain, on a voyage that took him to the present-day Americas. Now there's a guy who could have benefited from GPS!

On this day in 1977, after building and testing 25 units, Radio Shack issued a press release introducing its TRS-80 computer. Within weeks, the company had thousands of orders. Anybody out there ever use one of these?

Here's some trivia: What city has the most Rolls Royce's per capita?

Good luck :)

I won't try to answer the trivia quiz this early in the morning, but I did use a TRS-80 in fifth grade, back in 1980 or so. We had one for the entire class, and our project was to find the best way of writing a "tic-tac-toe" program in BASIC.

Ah, early computing memories. I remember our elementary school had Apple IIc computers. Anybody else ever play Logo?

The answer to the trivia quiz is Hong Kong. So that's why I can't find a nice RR on the market here in Seattle!
