I hear they call those University of Wisconsin fans Cheese-TRIVIA QUIZzes!

Today is Answer Your Cat’s Question Day, a day to pay attention to your cat in case he’s curious about something, sponsored by the Wellness Permission League of Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

Today is Emergency Medical Services Day. In 1972, the "Emergency" TV show debuted, starring Robert Fuller and Julie London. It featured the work of the Los Angeles County Fire Department's Paramedical Rescue Service and ran until September 1977. I'm a little bit sad that the event that sparked this "holiday" was a TV show.

Today is National Speak Up and Succeed Day, for the 97 percent of Americans who fear speaking in public. Louder!!

On this day in 1964, the Wisconsin Cheese Foundation completed history's largest cheese. The 34,591-pound cheddar took 43 hours to make. It was transported to the New York World's Fair in a 45-foot refrigerated "Cheese-Mobile."

On this day in 1968, a fast-paced satirical review debuted on NBC-TV. "Laugh-In" featured Dan Rowan & Dick Martin, Goldie Hawn, Judy Carne, Alan Sues, Lily Tomlin, Arte Johnson, Ruth Buzzi, JoAnne Worley, Henry Gibson, and Gary Owens.

On this day in 1984, Apple introduced the Macintosh, the first computer to use point-and-click technology. Happy birthday, Mac!

On this day in 2002, columnist Dave Barry helped christen the Dave Barry Sewage Pump Station in Grand Forks, North Dakota. In a column, Barry had poked fun at Grand Forks and its sister city, East Grand Forks, Minnesota, for calling themselves the "grand cities." Grand Forks offered to name a pump station after him if Barry would come visit. So he did.

And now, the trivia! What movie became the top money-making movie on this day in 1983 and would hold that title until 1993's Jurassic Park surpassed it?

Good luck :)

I'm not entirely sure about this, but I think it's Return of the Jedi. I usually have movie trivia down cold, but not entirely sure about this one...

I was going to guess ET.

Also, my cats are asking the following questions today, as they ask every day
"When's lunch?" and
"After lunch, I'm going to kill you."
Although the second is really more of a declarative statement :)

My first thought was ET, except that I thought that came out earlier, maybe '81 or '82. But, I'm going to agree with Kim on this one.

Oh, and my cats' favorite question(s) is "Oh, you were gone? Who knew? Now why aren't you petting me?" (upon my arrival home).

And the answer is....ET!

Mark, you raise an interesting question...did the re-release of Return of the Jedi change this answer? I have a feeling the re-release was after Jurassic Park, but if not, then you might be right!

Kim, an excellent guess! So both of your cats are out to get you? Maybe your next cat should be a tiger to keep them both in line!

Laine, nice work! So I'm guessing your cats wouldn't make a good team on the next "stunt" Amazing Race: Pet edition!

I'm pretty sure my hedgehog is thinking "Zzzzz" at the moment since she's nocturnal, but I'm sure she's dreaming about her big escape from her cage, which I'm convinced she's been plotting...

Nah, only one of them is actively trying to kill me. I'm pretty sure the other one is thinking "What exactly is your purpose here again?"
