Here's an odd trivia question: In Auburn, Washington, is it illegal to pretend your parents are: (a) rich; (b) smart; or (c) dead?
Good luck :)

I really hope the answer is c!
i'll go with C as well, as I am pretty sure that's fraud no matter where you live :)
Gotcha! The answer is rich!
Laine, I would have hoped so, too. But apparently nobody in Auburn, WA cares if you want to pretend your parents are dead.
Kim, that's a good point. Maybe the answer should be both rich and dead.
What is the punishment for this crime??
Laine, good question! Maybe they sue your family, thus making it less likely that they'll ever be rich. I have a feeling the informal punishment is a playground beating :)
