I feel like Mexican food...how about a nice trip to TRIVIA QUIZ!
Today is Cinco de Mayo in the U.S. and Mexico. At work, we're having Pizza De Mayo. Why? I could not tell you...

Today is National Chocolate Custard Day.

John Glenn? I feel like that's too obvious since no one else has answered yet...
I think it was Alan Shepard. I think John Glenn was the first guy to orbit the earth. Or so I have been led to believe by multiple viewings of The Right Stuff.
Also, didn't we already have boo boo day?
And it's indeed Alan Shepard, Jr.
Laine, I wonder if John Glenn is the only person to go into space twice, since you mention him. If so, that'd be a much better trivia question :)
Kim, I've never seen The Right Stuff. Is it worth a rent? As far as boo boo day, that's entirely possible: nobody seems to be controlling these holidays! I think the US should have a Minsitry of Celebrations or something ;)
Yes, The Right Stuff is completely awesome, you should rent it!
