I'm going to guess "fir" - since I know we have a lot of that in our house! Oh wait, that's fur....
i'll go with scotch pine sine it sounds like scotch broom which i think people are often allergic to as well. how's that for logic?
Good guesses, but the answer is the spruce tree. I've never had a tree that wasn't a fir, myself.
My family was also loyal to the Douglas fir, Rob! Now I have a cheap-o fake tree from Target, I feel like such a hypocrite...
