If it doesn't fit, you must TRIVIA QUIZ!

Today is Drive Through A Poor Neighborhood and Wave At the Children Day. Um, I'm pretty sure that's kind of wrong.

Today is Fun at Work Day. Plan fun activities to make workers laugh, and they will be more productive. Seltzer bottle, check, whoppee cushion, check...

Today is National Kazoo Day. Or if you don't have a kazoo, a pocket comb and paper will do. Play something upbeat.

Today is not National Compliment Day, that was yesterday. But if you forgot to compliment someone yesterday, it's okay to do it today :)

On this day in 1915, Alexander Graham Bell, who invented the telephone, inaugurated U.S. transcontinental telephone service. This eventually led to the creation of my current job :)

On this day in 1961, President Kennedy held the first presidential news conference carried live on radio and television.

On this day in 1993, President Bill Clinton appointed his wife Hillary to lead a task force on health-care reform.

On this day in 1995, in its opening statement in the O.J. Simpson murder trial in Los Angeles, the defense said Simpson was the victim of a ''rush to judgment'' by authorities who had mishandled evidence and ignored witnesses.

And it's trivia time once again! Which airline opened the jet age in the US with the first scheduled transcontinetal flight of a Boeing 707 on this day in 1959?

Good luck :)

I'll take a wild guess and say PanAm?

I'll go with delta.

Also if you are a delivery driver of some sort, can you combine fun at work day with driving through poor neighborhoods and waving at the children? That just seems mean, I'm picturing the ice cream truck driving through waving at all the kids like "ha, ha, you can't afford this!"

OK, I came up with an answer before I looked at the comments, and I'll agree with Laine ... I think it's Pan Am. At least I associate that carrier with the golden age of air travel - not quite as glamorous as sitting in Economy Plus, but close.

And the answer is...American Airlines! No word on how many AAdvantage miles that first group received ;)

Laine and JD, PanAm was a good guess. It reminds me of a scene from National Lampoon's European Vacation where Audrey is trying to get the Italian operator to connect her to Pan Am, and she finally just yells "PAN-O AM-O!"

Kim, I think the answer might have been Delta, but due to delays out of Atlanta, that flight from 1959 still has't left the ground yet ;)
